Blissfully biting at my bones
With breath that sings as it stings
Freezing my flesh with fresh tenacity,
The north wind howls its victory
I merely admit my defeat
With face buried
In once-warm terrycloth
Feeling that no loss
Is so keenly felt as heat.

I understand your pain :[ it's -9 here. My skin is so dry it's gonna start cracking open.

With breath that sings as it stings <-- i love this line. so prettyy and so true. it always seems like the wind is enjoying torturing everyone, and enjoying it so much that it's singing...
